Motorcycle transport preparation checklist
Prepare for Florida motorcycle pickup: vehicle condition, dimensions, photos, access, keys, dealer release and delivery details. Sportbikes, cruisers, trikes and UTVs.
Describe the vehicle accurately
Provide year, make, model and whether it starts, rolls, steers and brakes. Disclose leaks, damage, modifications and loading limitations. For a trike or side-by-side, send overall dimensions and weight information if available so equipment fit can be reviewed.
Confirm the written quote
Check the pickup and delivery addresses, date window, vehicle type, loading requirements, open or enclosed transport and total agreed price. Published per-mile rates are starting prices with minimum charges. Dedicated routes, urgent dates, tolls and special loading may change the quote.
Make pickup access practical
Arrange access through gates, storage facilities or dealership release procedures. Tell us about restricted streets, tight loading space or time limits. Provide the person’s name and contact details for the handoff; do not assume the seller or dealer will be available outside business hours.
Document the condition
Take current photographs before pickup and review the agreed condition documentation at the handoff. Record existing damage and share anything the transport provider needs to know. Keep your own copy of the quote and handoff documents.
Confirm preparation with the assigned provider
Follow the selected provider’s instructions for fuel level, alarms, batteries, loose accessories and personal items. Provide agreed keys and release documents. Do not remove components or make changes without confirming the preparation plan.
Plan delivery before the vehicle moves
Confirm an available recipient, suitable unloading access and delivery contact. Review condition at delivery and follow the selected provider’s documentation and claims process if there is a concern. Carrier coverage and claim terms must be confirmed before booking.
